Abstract
“Information system is a system that can not be separated when talking about information technology. In an organization, information system is an important element for enhancing the organization performance. Because of that, the quality of the information system must be able to be measured. In this research, the quality dimensions of information system, especially concerning about laboratory management information system are developed. These dimensions will represent the user need related to the information system and also the priority of each quality dimension indicator that is important according to user as consideration for developing the information system.
This research goal is to determine the priority from the quality dimension of information system indicator, especially the quality dimension of laboratory management information system indicator. The quality dimension of laboratory management information system is based on the dimensions in [1]. This research uses QFD (Quality Function Deployment) to determine the priority of the indicator by comparing the quality dimension with the technical characteristic of the quality dimension. The result of this research shows that the ???information system has historical record??? indicator is on first place with 0,668 level of importance based on the user perspective to develop the information system.
Further research can be executed to develop the laboratory management information system based on the user requirement identified in this research.”
