PRODUCT DESIGN OF A CHILLI CUTTER

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to design a product that serves as a tool for production using the product development process. After figuring out the customer needs, product concepts then generated. Following a literature review, the paper presents the results of concept generation. It then discusses the selection of concepts to be used as a reference for the next stage in the product development process. There are four concepts resulted from the process. The first concept using containers made of plastic, using scissors fruit and uses a liaison between the scissors and container in the form of wire. The second concept uses the concept of a sack-shaped container as the use of the container, liaison between the container and cut using wire. The third concept uses shaped container with fabric. The fourth concept uses shaped plastic container.
