Impact of Organizational Culture to Information Security Triad

Abstract
In many organization, implementation of information security management have some barriers. Some of them are related with the employees such as resistance and lack of awareness to do the information security policies and procedures. Those thing can be influenced by the organizational culture. Therefore, this paper explored the impact of organizational culture to three aspects of information security, i.e confidentiality, integrity, and availability. In this paper, the characteristics of organizational culture consists of four constructs; cooperativeness,innovativeness, consistency, and effectiveness. This study used quantitative method with multiple linier regression analysis. Data were taken using questionnaire to all employees of a telecommunication provider???s customer service office. It showed that all dimension of organizational culture significantly effecting to implementation of information security triad simultaneously. In parsially, organizational culture has significant impact to confidentiality and integrity, but not to availability.
