Abstract

Interactive media using application is a solution to provide early childhood learning in today’s technological era, one in the introduction to read. Based on the results of a survey conducted on an application of learning to read using a quality in use integrated measurement factor indicates there are deficiencies in the application of user task and usability . The impact of the shortage of implementation user task and usability is lacking throughout the learning materials delivered properly to all levels of the characteristics of early childhood. The needs of the user task and usability is then performed research by analyzing the task by applying hierarchical task analysis method. By using Hierarchical Task Analysis method will show systematic and organized diagram of applications task. This research resulted in the level of user experience that results better than the previous usability testing and get the user experience model of implementation of the recommendations of an application recognition task of learning to read by analysis using hierarchical task analysis in accordance with the characteristics of the user as well as early childhood and education curriculum in Indonesia.
