Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in electronics with a specialization in the field of Sound and Communication. Products manufactured by PT. XYZ include speakers, megaphones, amplifiers, microphones, wireless equipments, and sound systems. Department in PT. XYZ which are Plastic Injection, Metal Machine, Spinning, Painting, and Diaphragm departmen. Corrective maintenance in every department is still very often, so that it inhibits the production process and may result in decreased customer satisfaction. There fore needs to be made effective maintenance policy for take place production process.One of the methods used to obtain effective and efficient preventive maintenance policy is the method of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) . In addition, the calculation of required spare parts are also important in supporting preventive maintenance to ensure the availability of spare parts required. Spare parts are divided by two types, repairable spare parts and non-repairable spare parts.The results of processing data obtained seven critical equipments include ovens, plastic injections, automatic spinnings, CNC lathes, manual spinnings, press excentrics, and manual lathes. The types of maintenance activities are schedule on-condition maintenance tasks as much as 31 activities, 2 activities restoration schedule task and 20 activities schedule discard task . The number of repairable spare parts are 27 units and non-repairable spare parts are 13 units.
