Analysis of the Local own Revenue factors for Five Cities of West java

Abstract

“The objectives of this research is to analyze the factors which affect the local own revenue (PAD) for five model of urban expansion program in West Java such are Cimahi, Bekasi, Tasikmalaya, Banjar and Depok. PAD describe about independent of the local effort. PAD is also a bigger contributor for local budget, which indicate that the local government is able to applied fiscal decentralization and reduced its dependency to the central government. PAD is defined as income from their local economy activities such as tax and levy. Factors which affect PAD include government expenditure, population and PDRB. The data that observed in this study is the panel data of 2004 to 2012. Estimation model used is multiple regressions, which transformed into logarithmic form.”
