Abstract

“This study aimed to create and design a software application to support offline learning for writing skills to the students as well as English-language reference materials such as free writing, application letter, curriculum vitae, and text types (descriptive, recount, and procedure), in accordance with the learning target designed in the English syllabus in the Faculty of Applied Sciences of Telkom University.
The use of digital reference in electronic learning (e-learning) is necessary in order to implement the development of learning technologies. The use of a computer equipped with learning software, for example, can be used in its efforts to assist the achievements of learning objectives.
Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is an aid tool that can be either offline software application or online (network) learning, in which there are various applications to support teaching and learning process. The use of a computer equipped with learning software and networks can be utilized in an attempt to improve the students??? competencies in writing and assist in achieving the goal of learning (learning objectives) in English”
